Xan is a queer trans woman who has spent most of her adult life in the Nashville area. She joined the local rope community after the relaxation of COVID lockdown restrictions. A mechanical engineer by education, she quickly fell in love with rope, the physics behind it, and its safe practices. To her, rope is at an intersection between her hobbies and engineering life that makes the inner nerd in her geek out, and she loves sharing such nerdiness with others.
