Code of Conduct

Etiquette for Attendees:

Be mindful of names: Some folks use their legal names, while others choose to use a scene name. Even if you know someone from outside of the rope scene, best practice is to reintroduce yourself or ask what they go by at RING Events. Please be mindful…

No scening: Attendees should be practicing what they have learned, exploring new techniques, and labbing out details – but leave the actual scenes for other spaces.

Physical conduct: Consent is critically important! ALWAYS ask first before touching anyone (or their ropes). Attendees should avoid groping, inflicting pain beyond the tie practiced, and anything that might be construed as a sex act.

Photography/Video: These are both welcome at our events unless explicitly stated otherwise. Attendees should only capture the folks who are consenting to be photographed or have video taken, and should avoid capturing other people in the background.

Share the air: We love answering questions, just be careful not to monopolize the conversation.
